i have a NVidia Geforce 7500Le graphics card but the definition is still crap on my monitor.how do i change it

The computer is fairly new and it has a Nvidia Geforce 7500LE graphics card with 564mb memory. The monitor is a NEC multisync LCD 1810 but the definition looks a little blocky and crap..how can i change this so it is sharper?
Also check your display property settings for colour quality : highest(32bit)
If all else fails download latest drivers from manufacturer.
