I am wanting to wipe my husbands computer clean, it has way to much garbage on it and it is bogging it down! I have my re-install CD for Vista. Will just inserting the CD wipe it? Or do I need to do something else to it first?
I don't use Vista myself, but usually if you put the reinstall CD it, it will give you the option of wiping (formatting) the hard drive.
Insert the CD and reboot, it should boot off the CD and ask you what you'd like to do. Remember obviously
