Dell Laptop Battery/Harddrive Problems?

I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 and am running on windows XP media edition... i think

anyways... my hard drive crashed, and I had it replaced through my warranty... after going through that whole process, and finally getting my new hard drive

it coincidence. there is no link between the HD and the battery. Doubt its under warranty, but its worth calling them and see if they can replace it.
