Will this allow my second computer in a seperate room access to internet from my router?

i hope it does, my computer with the router are in one room while this computer will be in a seperate one. will this doohicky let me access the router?

Hmm, yes it will. I'm guessing you can't receive signals from the router to your room. Well, setting it up might be difficult somehow. So when you do try to purchase, make sure your router is Netgear, and make sure you contact your internet service provider.
