How do you send a picture from computer to cell phone?

Hi! I want to know how I can send a picture from my computer email to my cell phone through text. I don't have a memory card in my phone so I want to send a picture to my cell phone from my computer. I tried it once but when I got the text it said that
go to my pix at verizons website you can upload the pic and send it to your phone
