how to find password for BIOS setup utility on Compaq PC for resetting to factory settings?

I need to reset my computer to factory settings and when i hit F1 during the startup (at colored logo) to enter the BIOS settings it asks me for a password and i dont know the password. How do i find it?

Just remove the battery, or short the jumper, to reset the BIOS. Remove the case, look for the disc shaped battery - and pop it out. Reinsert it after a few seconds, and you should now have a BIOS with no password.
